Born in Bogotá, Colombia. At a early age he showed interest for medicine, later focusing in plastic and reconstructive surgery. He studied medicine in the prestigious Medicine Colombian School until the year 1987. Having a self overcoming spirit, on 1988 he decided to travel to Mexico to initiate his studies in Plastic Surgery, and in 1991 he started to specialize in Plastic Surgery in the Costa Rica University, where he prepared himself rotating in the best hospitals in the country, assisting also at the Hospital Angel Leaño at Autonomous Guadalajara University in Mexico.After his graduation as Plastic and reconstructive Surgery Specialist at the Costa Rica University, he has continued his studies in Mexico, Dallas Texas and Bogotá Colombia, keeping track of the constant changes in technology and different techniques in the field.Since 1996 to 2001 he served as social service throughout all over the Costarican country, including areas such as, El Valle de la Estrella, Limón, Gúapiles, Siquirres, Ciudad Quesada and San Isidro de Perez Zeledón, also in social service centers such as Centro Médico Familiar de Desamparados, Caravanas de Buena Voluntad in San Francisco de Dos Ríos, Centro Médico del Este.On 2002, he established his own Plastic Surgery Clinic Center, Peralta Mantilla Plastic Surgery Clinic, where he combines the greatest surgery advances, the highest quality technology and the best Human Professional Team, dedicated only to the service and satisfaction of our clients which come from all over the world.

Nació en Bogotá, Colombia. A una temprana edad mostró interés por la medicina, más tarde centrándose en cirugía plástica y reconstructiva. Estudio Medicina en la prestigiosa Escuela de Medicina de Colombia hasta el año 1987.
Con un espíritu de auto superación, en 1988 decidió viajar a México para iniciar sus estudios en cirugía plástica y en 1991 empezó a especializarse en Cirugía Plástica en la Universidad de Costa Rica, donde e preparó en rotación en los mejores hospitales en el país, ayudando también en el Hospital Angel Leaño en la Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, México.
Después de su graduación como Especialista en Cirugía Plástica y Reconstructiva, en la Universidad de Costa Rica, ha continuado sus estudios en México, Dallas, Texas y Bogotá, Colombia, en el seguimiento de los cambios constantes en la tecnología y las diferentes técnicas en el campo.
