La otoplastía es probablemente una de las cirugías más frecuentes tanto en hombres como en mujeres.

Este procedimiento tiene como principal objetivo el mejorar la apariencia física de las orejas, en la mayoría de los casos se trata de doblar las orejas hacia atrás cuando son muy prominentes.

En otros casos se trata de reconstrucción de orejas deformadas por piercings, expansores, queloides, aretes pesados o lesiones por mordeduras o por reacciones extremas a cuerpos extraños o Cáncer.
